All voters whose names are included in the voter list of a village or ward are members of the respective Gram Sabha or Ward Sabha.

👤 Convener & Chairman

• The convener is a ward member.
• If necessary, a nearby ward member can be appointed as the convener.
• The Gram Panchayat President/Municipal Chairperson will preside.

📅 Meetings

• It is the convener's responsibility to call the meeting.
• Quorum: 10% of total voters.
• Quorum for the adjourned meeting: 50 members.
• A special meeting must be called within 15 days if requested by 10% of voters.

📝 Members' rights

• You can submit questions and suggestions.
• Resolutions may be presented on matters within the jurisdiction.
• The resolution can be passed based on majority.
